In general, the team coordinates, manages and produces environmental impact assessment reports, working with a variety of technical disciplines on a wide range of different types of development.The team have expertise in environmental impact assessment (EIA), strategic environmental assessment (SEA), and Industrial Emissions licensing. We have a track record of delivering impact assessments for a range of development types, including high profile, major infrastructure and development projects.The OpportunityArup is one of Irelands leading environmental consultancies, delivering some of Irelands most complex projects across a wide variety of sectors. We are looking for a senior level environmental consultant, who will lead the development of our work in the Energy sector which is one of the most exciting sectors in Ireland just now. You would be responsible for working with the Energy Business Leader in Ireland, to identify and win opportunities in that sector for the Environmental Discipline team and to manage and deliver these projects to the highest quality. This position offers significant opportunity to grow and develop our current portfolio of work, particularly in areas such as offshore wind and hydrogen.You will work within a multi-disciplinary environment with specialists in environmental science, planning, engineering, and urban design, working closely with both internal and external technical disciplines to provide high-quality environmental consultancy services. 10-15 years experience required this is a very senior role within the company.Your responsibilities will include conducting technical work, as well as assisting with the preparation of proposals and marketing activities.You will be responsible for delivering environmental impact assessments, managing technical teams, and reviewing reports. This includes writing EIA reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing project scheduling and budgets, leading multi-disciplinary teams, liaising with clients, advising on mitigation measures, engaging with stakeholders, conducting project reviews, and preparing bids and presentations.At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive.
