Are you an electrical estimator looking to work with a Tier one contractor within their growing Power Division?You will have a proven track record in pricing and compiling bids for various sectors, including overhead power lines, underground power cables, electrical substations, grid connection works, solar parks, wind farms, and data centre power generation. - Experience in pricing and compiling bids for:
- Overhead Power Lines
- Underground Power Cables
- Electrical Substations
- Grid Connection Works
- Solar Parks
- Wind Farms
- Data Centre Power Generation
- Working knowledge of Eirgrid and ESB Networks requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the power sector.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
As an Electrical Estimator:
- Read and interpret Invitations to Tender (ITT) and client documents accurately.
- Perform precise measurement and quantification of project requirements.
- Source and procure necessary electrical equipment in line with project specifications.
- Develop comprehensive work schedules and timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with design teams to ensure project specifications are met.
- Address and resolve technical queries during the bid stage.
- Present detailed tenders to the internal board for adjudication.
- Manage and respond to technical queries after bid submission.
- Interpret and understand contract documentation thoroughly.
