“The sky is not the limit at VKI !”Today, we are looking for a “(Electro) Mechanics Technician”Your responsibilities
- In close collaboration with our engineers and students, you will work on our test facilities such as low & high speed windtunnels, high temperature test installations … enabling reproduction of aerospacial flight conditions ! Some of our test facilities are unique in the world.
- As a technician, you will support scientific investigations and experiments by preparing the test installations.
- Based on the design, mainly made by our design office, you will assemble and construct new or adapt existing installations.
- You will specialize in one or more installations and will be responsible of the maintenance of these installations
- You can easily switch from one facility to the other since every scientific experiment is unique
- Together with your team members you make sure that the work environment remains clean, safe and tidy.
Profile
- A technical diploma in (electro)mechanics or equivalent through experience.
- Notions of technical drawing, mechanics, electricity, electronics, instrumentation and IT (MSOffice).
- French and/or Dutch is required. Notions of English is an asset.
- You are eager to learn, a real teamplayer but also know how to work autonomously.
