Job description
Our client is looking for an Engineer specialized in Radiological Characterization.Mission
- Write technical specifications and manage subcontractors for the provision of measurement systems and radiological campaigns.
- Conduct radiological characterizations according to needs and the level of expertise required by authorities.
- Develop and apply strong skills in calculation codes such as MNCP and Microshield.
- Possess extensive expertise in radiological characterization, both nationally and internationally.
- Share knowledge and experience with the client and colleagues to ensure alignment in the work to be done.
- Actively and regularly participate in meetings with colleagues where workload plans, technical issues, project follow-up, strategy development, and coordination of cross-functional activities will be discussed.
- Establish tasks and a list of deliverables that could be subcontracted in order to obtain a radiological characterization method approved by ONDRAF (specifications) for radioactive waste streams covered in the “BULK SSCs” scope.
Profile
- Master’s degree or PhD in engineering or sciences, preferably in physics.
- Core skills: nuclear measurements.
- Knowledge of MNCP and MicroShield.
- French or Dutch and English: good written and oral command.
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience.
