EUC Workplace Manager – Permanent role based in KilkennyA key client of ours is seeking an EUC Workplace Manager to lead a team responsible for managing and optimizing end-user technologies and services. This role will drive strategy, engineering, and operations across key areas, including Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, unified communications, messaging and collaboration, remote desktop solutions, and device asset management.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the operating plan and budget for end-user computing and Microsoft 365.
• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of endpoint technologies.
• Collaborate with Managed Service Providers to ensure efficient software distribution, patch management, and service resolution.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of unified communications and collaboration tools.
• Address incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
• Support projects where end-user computing and Microsoft 365 are key enablers.
• Implement and manage Microsoft 365 updates, security, and compliance measures.
• Work closely with business and IT teams to provide tailored solutions.
• Maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for Microsoft 365 usage.
• Oversee user accounts, licenses, and permissions while optimizing license management.
• Ensure data backup and recovery processes for Microsoft 365 services.
• Educate stakeholders on best practices and maintain software asset management tools.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 10+ years in End User Computing (EUC), including 5+ years in supplier & service level management
• 3+ years leading and developing high-performing teams
• ITIL v3+ certification or equivalent experience
• Expertise in EUC workplace technologies & Microsoft 365
• Experience in process design, improvement, & implementation
• Knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, NIST)
• Understanding of data backup & disaster recovery
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, & communication skills
• Team player with a growth mindset
