The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex EV/ICP infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the EV infrastructure industry.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of EV infrastructure projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage project resources, including team members, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered safely, on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Operational and commercial delivery responsibility for safe, efficient delivery of projects.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and regulatory bodies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Manage project risks and opportunities.
  • Develop contingency plans to manage potential project challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and manage project quality control processes.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure continuous improvement.

What do I need to be successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Project management experience in the EV infrastructure or renewable energy sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing infrastructure projects (£100k – £2m).
  • Strong understanding of EV charging technologies and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required
