The opportunityDelaware North UK is hiring a full-time Events Planning Manager for non-match days to work for 12 months of maternity cover at the iconic Wembley Stadium in Wembley, London. Help us delight the world by applying today.What will you do?Manage the event planning for all non-match day events, including corporate, private, and social guests, venue sponsors, and box holdersEnsure supplier list rates and privileges are accurateDiary management for events, ensuring accurate information and successful planning of operation of events, collaborating with relevant heads of departmentManage the production and distribution of the weekly function sheets, and lead weekly briefing meeting with internal teams and key stakeholdersEnsure company accounting policies are adhered to and the operation is in accordance with current practice of health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standardsMore about you

  • 5+ years’ event experience, particularly within a similar environment including conference centres, hotels, and unique venues; no degree required
  • Skills in communication, organisation, attention to detail, productivity, flexibility, and quick to learn
  • IT literate including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent knowledge of food and event hospitality
