We are supporting them in recruiting an Export Coordinator on a permanent, full-time basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a well-recognized company that offer fantastic training, support and a hard working yet warm and sociable working environment.As part of this role your mission will be fully focussed on the Export side of the business, making sure all orders, enquiries and queries are handled quickly, efficiently and accurately. Providing the very best level of service to their clients. Also ensuring that all potential sales and marketing opportunities are being fully covered off at all times.This position will be working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, fully based in the offices in Hemel Hempstead, there is free onsite parking available as well as company benefits too. The salary for this position is paying up to £25,000 depending on candidate’s experience.Duties to include:

  • Support export customers from enquiry to receipt of goods.
  • Maintain all key shipping documentation and records for internal and external purposes.
  • Work with and review performance of freight forwarders.
  • Ensure all phone calls and emails are answered promptly, courteously and positively.
  • Process all customer orders and enquiries efficiently and accurately.
  • Identify any sales opportunities and ensure all leads are passed on.

The skills required:

  • Previous experience in an Export/Import or Logistics/Operational role would be ideal.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to build relationships with customers, internal staff and external suppliers quickly and effectively.
  • The ability to demonstrate empathy with customers and show a clear understanding of their needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a focused and determined team.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
