Position Summary:
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Cooperative Extension Program is searching to fill the position of Extension Associate-Family and Consumer Sciences in the School of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Human Sciences. The Extension Associate will work closely with the SNAP-Ed Program and will work under the immediate supervision of the Program Outreach Coordinator. The successful candidate must have good workforce ethics and support program management process and impact for SNAP-Ed, and provide support to county program staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences, Health Education, Public Health, Public Health Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Health Promotion, or a closely related field plus a minimum of three relevant professional work experience or a Master’s degree in Human Sciences, Health Education, Public Health, Public Health Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Health Promotion, Health Policy, or a related field.

Proficiency in computer programs, data management, and email. Good oral and written communication skills. Travel required within assigned area. Successful applicant must have transportation for use of the job, a current drivers’ license, and liability insurance.
