Position Information The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.
About the Role
To be successful in the role you will need good farming experience across a range of husbandry enterprises consistent with current agricultural educational curriculum. Be a good communicator to work effectively with teachers, students and external support agencies as required.
You will possess good skills in the caring, supervising and working with various livestock, and good ability to prioritise, plan and organise workloads and workflows.
Assists with crop production, operate farm machinery, including tractor, ride on mower, and other farm machinery and implements. Undertake general maintenance of farm machinery, tools and equipment.
You will also possess experience to receipt and store supplies; undertake all general farming activities and operations to support agricultural learning, and all farm related resources for teaching purposes within the educational framework.
