What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience preferred in Education, Community Development or related field.
- Minimum:2 years of experience in experiential education, curricula development, and community partnerships.
- Minimum: Strong public speaking and communication via oral, written, and digital avenues. Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
- First Aid/CPR/AED
What you will do:
- Independently design and deliver year-round, meaningful education programming, including health-related cooking classes, summer camp, field trips, and workshops.
- Design and deliver curricula and materials that employ current best practices and education standards for a wide range of students including youth, patients, community members, physicians, and health care professionals.
- Design, create, and maintain spaces at McLaughlin Grows Urban Farm to promote engagement and education.
- Provide leadership and support to experiential education community and support community partners in regional health improvement initiatives.
- Creates and delivers training staff and interns to deliver programs.
