Our Public Coast Farm is not like most farms. Everything we grow, prune and harvest will be on our restaurant menus and our Farm Stand. The Farm Guest Experience Coordinator is a full-time, year-round position overseeing guest experiences at the farm and collaborating with external partners.
The position reports to the Farm Manager, and supports Owner initiatives, while supporting growth demands at the farm.

During the summer months, oversight of the Farm stand, slated to be open 3 to 4 days per week this summer, beginning in July, will be the primary area of responsibility.
Duties will include inventory management, setting and maintaining pars of products selected, ordering of goods for the Farm stand, identifying staffing needs, scheduling of Farm stand staff, and overseeing the sales efforts and deposits of the Farmstand.
Coordinator is the liaison of the relationship with the Tualatin Valley Water and Soil District on the Dairy Creek Restoration project, Salmonberry Trail Foundation, Washington County Visitors Assn., Banks Chamber of Commerce, and local schools and nonprofits.
Under direction from the Culinary Director, coordinate and facilitate the berries into puree, juice, jam, etc., honey into the package and finished products, hops processed and into the market.
Plan and coordinate execution of farm-based products into consumer experiential drivers for the Public Coast Brand.
Coordinator will take on event and sales marketing projects, interfacing Public Coast and the story of our purpose, to distribution support, promotional activities.
Focus on revitalizing the wildlife and adding levels of pollinators for our beekeeping program.
Facilitate farm partners, artists, and craft makers for exhibition and educational connections to our guests.
Keeps supplies and work areas organized and clean; sweep, trash out, move items safely.
Drive company vehicles in a safe manner following all rules of the road.
Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and QuickBooks for invoicing.
Team oriented and able to self-direct work as needed, always looking for the next task or opportunity to contribute to success of role and farm.
The Nitty Gritty
Experience in guest facing roles and farm work preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to acquire an OLCC Alcohol Server Permit and Oregon Food Handlers Card.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and QuickBooks for invoicing.
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs.
Able to bend, climb, sit, walk, twist, and kneel for prolonged periods.
