Farm Laborer in Horton, Alabama

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that may include cattle and poultry. Attend to animals produced for animal products, such as meat and eggs. Duties may include feeding, watering, herding, catching, and loading animals. May maintain records on animals; examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; administer insecticides as appropriate. May clean and maintain animal housing areas. Includes workers who collect eggs in hatcheries. Other general farm labor and equipment operator duties such as running tractors and hay rakes. Must have own reliable transportation. This is a full time day position, although hours vary depending on age of animals.
