Accountabilities with Key Outcomes:
- Operating assigned equipment in a safe and efficient manner to support daily farm activities.
- Field Operations – operate tractors, forklift and implements to perform required field tasks.
- Harvest Operations- Moving seed using hand-held rake or blower, removing branches or brush in rows to facilitate harvest of seed in the field.
- Field Prep (discing, bed shaping, etc.).
- Troubleshooting equipment issues in field to minimize downtime.
- Completing daily paperwork on field tasks.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience :
Essential
- Tractor experience
- Farm Labor Experience
- Ability to complete daily field documentation
Desirable
- Fixed crop experience
- Experience with disc, blower, and other field implements
