What you will do:

The Farm Store Inventory Coordinator is responsible for entering, maintaining, and adjusting information in our store operating system. The main function of this role is counting inventory by category and departments. Inventory maintenance and accurate inventory accounting is our top priority and a central part in the operation of the farm store. You will frequently be making inventory adjustments for negative inventory counts, damaged or store use products, and inventory transfers between our van and stores. Other job duties include but are not limited to: Occasional travel to the Cloverdale farm store, back-room organization, merchandise labeling and price changes, taking and invoicing orders, answering phones, and of course helping customers throughout the day. This position will have a minimal cross training to assist out office administrator as well.

Here’s a day in the life: 

  • Maintain data integrity of inventory items and systems information related to inventory.
  • Use scan guns and work with EPICOR on ensuring their required updating so the operate to their maximum potential.
  • Communicate effectively, establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public and be able to interact with all levels of the company.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Work under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible in working on multiple projects.
  • Utilize a computer with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Concur (SAP) preferred.
  • Maintaining an effective filing system for documents and records.
  • Run errands as necessary.
  • Assist the farm store management team with duties such as: Answering directing phone calls, miscellaneous correspondence and small projects.
  • Greet customers and guests, photocopy and scan as needed, and facilitate office correspondence distribution.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • A high school diploma is required. An Associate degree in Accounting or related field is preferred. 
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting and using computerized accounting software is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
