The Granite Government Solutions Sales Organization is looking for a highly self-motivated professional for our Federal DOD Partner Sales Executive role as we expand our team to meet the opportunity. Granite is a prime on the EIS contract as well as other non-EIS contract opportunities. This role will focus on the Systems Integrators alliance partnering aspect of revenue growth within the Federal DOD marketplace. Granite is looking to add one person for the Dept of Defense. This role does not encompass a telecom carrier wholesale scope to it. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, a high energy level fueled by self-motivation, the ability to learn with a growth mindset, 3 to 4 years of Federal marketplace and SI vendor ecosystem experience around technology, telecom and Government, or partner experience that can be used as a starting point. Consistent and demonstrated track record of being a high performer within your prior roles is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn at a fast pace from initial training, ongoing training and experience. Receptive to positive coaching.
Identify the most strategic partnering opportunities within the federal marketplace and target those partnerships for Sub contractor revenue growth.
Gain a strong understanding of our telecom technology team process and a strong understanding of the federal acquisition regulations, policies, and contract vehicles.
The right candidate will quarterback the Granite Team to gain partnerships and then collaborate with DOD Granite Teammates on specific wins. Partners will want to and need to be executive aligned, engineering resources aligned, must believe in our ability to deliver, and know our story, as well as have a partner agreement in place. This is a team alliance process that is driven exactly as a team sales process at Granite. As in the latter sales process, this role will need to nail down and confirm our value within the partner company deliverables.
Evangelize Granite capabilities and our core value that compliment a partner’s core deliverables, so that we can position alliances that will deliver sub-contractor revenue to Granite.
We do not need this person to seek sub-contractors for Granite as we engage on our own EIS and contract vehicles. Granite has capture and engineering personnel for this scope of our business.
Work within our SF instance to develop and keep current strategic account plans, notes, contacts, etc. for assigned Partners
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 to 4 years of successful team sales or capture work experience within the Federal Government.
Possess a “hunter” mentality as it relates to pursuit of meetings with and aligning with the partner ecosystem.
BA/BS degree from accredited college or university
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be coachable, growth mindset and accountable to learning. Must be committed to growing e-intelligence and work-related intelligence. Seeking a flexible, ‘can do’ mindset.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Professional and confident while striking a balance with humility.
Must have the ability to be cleared for Public Trust level Clearance P2, or currently hold this clearance.
