Responsibilities
- Resolve, repair and install fiber optics systems and telephone in accordance with guidelines.
- Ability to set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONT’s, routers and switches
- Analyze and record test results within prescribed parameters by performing testing on company issued devices and customer devices.
- Interface with customers to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
- Drive a company vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and stocked vehicle with equipment in order to be prepared to perform required duties.
- Complete paperwork accurately and report and record all work order status updates
Customer service duties such as :
- Greet and interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns;
- Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement.
- Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
Who we are looking for…
- You are at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Authorized to work in the United States for this company
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience or are comfortable with working in tight spaces such as a crawl space or attic of a house
- Experience in working through inclement weather
- Experience with small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
- Experience with the demands of working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- You have effective communication skills
- You are able to travel and work extended hours; overtime and weekends as needed
- You are able to lift, climb, and carry ladders with weight of up to 80lbs
