Field Service Technician – CorkThis is an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join a leading company specializing in industrial coding, marking, and labeling solutions. The client supplies equipment like inkjet printers, lasers, and labelers to mark products with codes, labels, or barcodes for industries such as food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and construction. The ideal candidate should be based in the Cork region as most of the projects will be based in Cork, however this role will also cover Kerry, Limerick, Clare areas.Responsibilities:

• Install, service and repair the full range of coding, marking and peripheral equipment to the highest standards.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
• Communicate with the Service Manager via the internal job allocation system, email and telephone contact.
• Support continuous improvement and problem-solving processes.
• Install, service and repair Domino Printing Technologies. This will include Laser Marking, Inkjet, DOD, Thermal Transfer and Labelling Systems.

Requirements:

• A technical qualification would be an advantage.
• Preferably 3 years field service experience in an electronic/technical role.
• Experience with PLC integration and integrating with ERP or MES systems.
• Experience in CIJ, thermal and laser printers would be an advantage, full training will be provided
• Computer skills in MS Office,
• Full clean driver’s licence
