Job Description

Job Purpose and Impact

We are looking for a Trade Representative to implement our origination strategy in Hungary. The ideal candidate will be results-driven and knowledgeable about the Hungarian Agri-business market, with an existing supplier portfolio and strong relationships with farmers/big suppliers, local traders, and brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain supplier relationships to meet origination targets.
• Enhance our presence in the Hungarian market around the Danube by developing cargo flows towards the Black Sea or upstream Danube.
• Develop and implement account plans to achieve origination and risk management goals.
• Work with supply chain and operations departments to ensure proper contract execution.
• Ensure documents (contracts, payment documents) comply with internal procedures and legal standards.
• Monitor supplier and competitor activities and industry trends.
• Promote the company and its activity and services to support business growth.
• Solve moderately complex issues independently, escalating more complex matters as needed.

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in agribusiness with good knowledge of the Hungarian Agri-market
• Open minded, curious, a person looking to grow together with us in the region etc.
• Analytical, creative, objective team player, ability to collaborate in multi-cultural and cross-functional setting.
• Fluency in both Hungarian and English
