Finance analyst for one of CBRE’s TMT accounts, responsible for key deliverables including client reporting, forecasting, stakeholder management (client and internal), CBRE month-end processes and supporting the Finance Manager.

Client Finance

  • Develop strong relationships with both the Client operational and Client finance teams

  • Assist with request including client reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner through effective communication and personal accessibility/credibility.

  • Capture, report, and drive account KPI’s in the required framework.

CBRE Finance

  • Provide direct financial support and expertise to the account

  • Perform month end processes for multiple countries within the dell portfolio.

  • Provide added value financial commentary to support regular, standard financial reports

  • Balance sheet preparation and reviews

  • Adhering to SOX requirements.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to Finance & Contract Support Manager as required

  • Working closely with the team to identify all possible savings opportunities and ensure that financial targets are achieved

  • Support compilation of CBRE annual budgets & quarterly forecasts

  • Ensure finance procedures are adhered to by operations team, and take corrective action / escalate where required

  • Support in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required

Quality

  • Understanding/familiarity with Dynamics AX, Peoplesoft, iScala, PowerBI systems.

  • Support seamless management of contract across multiple regions

  • Share best practice and innovation especially around contract terms

  • Deliver on customers expectations

  • Liaise with Contract Support teams around the business

  • Involve people and influence decisions

Education

Essential

  • Higher educational qualifications to ‘A’ level or degree (or equivalent)

Desirable

  • AAT Studier, or CCAB accounting qualification studier (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

Skills

Essential

  • Excellent PC based skills, with experience in Word, Excel (including modelling), PowerPoint and Outlook – intermediate to advance level skills are essential (lookups and pivots essential)

  • Highly numerate

  • Organised and open to new ways of working to challenge inefficiencies.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and able to communicate with people at all levels across the account and develop effective relationships at all levels.

Experience

  • Working in an environment where delivering financial information within tight timescales is a pre-requisite

  • Reporting in a complex multi-country, multi-divisional, service business (Industry experience) including financial planning and contracts management

  • Dealing with Forex in a multi-currency environment

  • Providing senior management with financial results and analysis

  • Demonstrable experience working with complex financial and operational information systems and controls in a large business that provides consistent and reliable information

  • Focus on strong focus on customer service

Desirable

  • Presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and results to senior stakeholders.

  • The successful candidate will be able to exercise an attention to detail which will be paramount to delivering the required job performance levels.

  • Self motivated, reliable & flexible team player, who is able to work on own initiative.
