The Finance Transformation Manager will be responsible for driving innovation projects within Finance. You will work with our Finance teams to champion change and to bring best practice, standardisation and efficiencies to our ways of working. You will bring strong experience of current ways of working (for example in Financial Control or Business Partnering) and have enthusiasm for continuous improvement.

Your primary responsibilities will be to drive innovation within Finance:

• Driving change projects across Finance teams including Financial Control and/or Business Partnering.
• Work closely with Finance teams to analyse, understand and challenge existing ways of working
• Drive standardisation and improvements to processes.
• Supporting standardisation and alignment across North & South Europe (NSE).
• Identify further opportunities for Finance to add commercial value
• Advocating adoption of existing and emerging technologies (eg My Dashboard)
• Challenge and drive further adoption of the Global Finance Services (GFS) catalogue.
• You will need to have strong relationships with all stakeholders and colleagues based on trust and impact.
• Deliver reporting on projects to give transparency on deadlines, accountability and risks.

You may also be involved in firmwide transformation projects including:

• Integrated offerings – to support businesses working together across Europe
• NSE integration – to standardise and align Finance processes and teams
• Global Delivery Network – to facilitate colleagues offshore to work with UK clients

Essentials

• Experience of driving continuous improvement projects in Finance.
• Experience of working in Financial Control or Business Finance teams.
• Great communicator who builds strong relationships.
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes.
• Understanding of the SAP S4 system.
• Chartered Accountant.

Key competencies:

• Advanced MS PowerPoint, Project, Excel, SharePoint, SAP.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, people focused and agile.
• Commercial acumen and customer service orientation.
• Strong change mindset.

Education and qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• Degree level educated or equivalent.

Personal independence
