This company highly regarded cosmetics & skincare brand in Ireland & Europe are recruiting a Financial Accountant Manager to join their team. The business has established itself as a prominent multiband player in the marketplace across the last few years. Continued growth has led to an increased headcount across the organization and investment in infrastructure to continue with their successful international hyper growth path.Key Responsibilities

• Run the accounting activities of the organisation.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
• Generate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including processing invoices, making payments, and reconciling vendor accounts.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers, recording revenue, and following up on outstanding payments.
• Monitor inventory levels and valuation, ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards – VAT & Customs in all relevant countries.
• Prepare and file financial reports and tax returns.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Utilize SAGE ERP systems to record and track financial transactions.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations of financial transactions.
• Agile mindset and can-do attitude to embed S&OP process in business practices – continuous planning, reforecasting, quarterly / event driven / rolling forecasting.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Key skills and Requirements

• High calibre, ambitious, qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3+ years PQE.
• Proven track record of success in accountancy roles, preferably but not mandatory within the beauty or consumer goods industry.
• Strong analytical skills, detailed driven individual with the ability to problem solve.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Can-do mindset, positive attitude, problem solver, data lover.
• Strong Excel, good PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge of Sage an advantage, not a must.
