Barden has been engaged by a leading Cork business to identify a qualified Financial Accountant to join their team. Working as part of a large, highly professional team, you will play a key role in the company’s Shared Service Centre (SSC).As a Financial Accountant, you will work on the accounting functions for multiple entities while contributing to various projects within the organisation. • Manage General Ledger accounting for one or more entities.
• Review and post month-end close and accounting transactions.
• Ensure accounting and reporting compliance under U.S. and local GAAP.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across EMEA.
• Prepare key performance indicators and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing timely and accurate information and data to support the audit process.
• Evaluate processes, recommending and implementing improvements.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• Newly Qualified Accountant, 0 – 2 years PQE.
• Experience with US GAAP and SAP is desirable.
• Strong technical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and different cultures.
