JOB DESCRIPTION:Job Title: Financial Accountant – Dublin City Centre – HybridSalary: €60,000 – €65,000 DOELocation: Dublin – Working a hybrid model – 2 days per week in the Dublin office.Ref: S011376Description of Role:Our client are a charity organisation and are now seeking Senior Financial Accountant based in Dublin city centre. Working a hybrid model – 2 days per week in the Dublin office.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Ensuring timely and accurate quarterly management accountsAnalysis of income/expenditure by project and donorProviding accurate split of restricted and unrestricted fundingManaging intercompany balances and reconciliationsAccount reconciliationsQuarterly review with HQ departmentsMaintenance of nominal ledger including journal posting and expense coding.Responsible for monthly HQ payroll processing including managing new starters and leavers, benefits, expenses, PAYE submission, processing net payment via EFT and liaising with HR on payroll related matters.Line management of the accounts payable team. Ensuring the timely payment of transactions. Approvals, oversight, project and decision-making support as neededMain point of contact for the local auditors. Responding to audit queries or escalating as necessaryAssisting the cash forecasting process with current information pertaining to the various bank accountsAssisting in the preparation of the annual budget.Review bank transactions with timely identification of all payments and lodgements.Administrator for all online banking platformsUpdate bank mandates as appropriate.Provide support to the Programme Finance team as appropriate.Support on data analysis, preparation of Management Reports and board packs.Provide cover and other financial management support to the team as necessary.Requirements:Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with at least 3 years PQEPrevious experience of PSF a distinct advantageHigh level of initiative, motivation, commitment, and professionalismCompetent with MS Office packagesExcellent verbal, analytical, organisational, and written skillsStrong people management and communication skills.Hands-on experience of systems implementation would be an advantage.Financial experience in the not-for-profit sector desirable but not essentialFor more information please send your CV to Carol in confidence through the link.If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, please feel free to contact us directly.
