Job description

This Global Financial Advisory company in Dublin 4 is seeking a Financial Controller to join their team. This role will work closely with the Financial Director and CFO.Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting & KPI reviews
• Managing a team of two junior members of staff
• Being actively involved with the annual budget preparation process
• Analysing and explaining overhead spend and variances against budget
• Preparing cash flow statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitoring and analysing financial data including revenue and expenses
• Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Analysing, presenting, and monitoring chargeability, recoverability and utlisation within the business
• Preparing the reporting pack for the senior executives
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and company policy

Key Skills and Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualifications
• 2-3 years of Post Qualification Experience
• Experience using a payroll software such as CoreTime, Drive, CCH or CallSoft
• Strong experience and skills with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• People management experience (Desirable)
• Practice (or similar practice environment) experience preferred (Desirable)

Salary approx. €70k plus excellent benefits package. Full-time permanent and hybrid role with lots of scope for further career development and progression
