Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 depending on experience plus an additional £500 on passing probation.
Hours: 40 hours across 5 days per week (We’re open 8AM to 8PM Monday to Friday, 8:45AM to 4:30PM Saturdays & 10AM to 4PM Bank Holidays)

The role – be the voice of UW

You’ll be the person who gives us a voice and connects us to our customers.

You’ll help to solve our customers’ problems, providing them with support, advice and the peace of mind that their query will be resolved.

We won’t lie – it’s not always an easy role. You’ll need to be willing to deal with challenging and vulnerable customers, there is a lot to learn and things are always changing. But we’ll give you all the training you need when you join and then once you are part of a team, you’ll have people around you for continued learning and encouragement.

You’ll work towards a number of KPIs such as:

  • Compliance score
  • Customer satisfaction & NPS score
  • Calls per hour
  • Home Insurance quote conversion

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for people with great customer service skills who enjoy resolving customer issues. Ideally, you will currently or have previously worked in a financial services setting.

We also want you to be:

  • A great listener who remains calm under pressure
  • Someone who loves working in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Motivated and keen to meet goals and targets

What you’ll need

Be able to commit to hybrid working where you will work 2 days a week at our offices and 3 days from home.

We will supply the equipment needed for you to do the role but you will still need a strong internet connection. Our minimum speed requirement is 25Mbps Download and 4Mbps Upload.

You will also need a dedicated, quiet work space with a work station, plenty of natural light, access to fresh air and no distractions. This cannot be a communal space that is shared by other household members.

You’ll also need to be currently residing in the UK with eligibility to live and work in the UK too.
