Are you a Fire Engineer with 3+ years’ experience working in a consultancy environment demonstrating fire engineering project delivery?Are you interested in working with one of Ireland’s leading engineering consultancies in the fire design and safety sectors?If interested, please send your CV to [email protected] or call Colm on +353-1-9696684.Fire Engineer – Construction Consultancy – IrelandJob DescriptionOur client is a leading engineering consultancy who specialise in Fire Engineering Designs & Project Delivery to the Commercial, Industrial, Pharma/Biotech and Educational Sectors.Our client is seeking to recruit a number of fire engineers with capabilities in design & project delivery.Candidates will be responsible for developing and delivering effective innovative fire engineering solutions for various building types to meet quality standards.Developing fire engineering solutions for various building types and at various stagesDemonstrate the ability to apply performance based fire engineering solutions and in particular the ability to develop structural fire engineered solutionsCarrying out risk assessments of existing buildingsPreparation of relevant documentation such as presentations, reports, sketches, drawings, etc.Clear ability to liaise with the design team, client, local approving authorities, contractors and other third parties as requiredShort-term travel as requiredMaintaining quality standardsRequirementsUndergraduate or postgraduate qualification in fire engineeringDetailed knowledge and experience with Part B of the Building Regulations (either Ireland or UK) and demonstrable familiarity with associated guidance (TGD B/ADB & BS 5588/BS 9999).Familiarity and good working knowledge of fire engineering principles – demonstrable understanding of methods (e.g. CIBSE Guide E, BRE 368, PD 7974 series)Experience writing technical reportsDemonstrable competence and familiarity with office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Experience in application of various design Irish/UK fire safety codes (e.g. HTMs, BB100)Experience with site inspection and investigationFire safety managementExperience in application of specialist fire engineering disciplines, CFD, SFE, Evacuation modellingPackageSalary €45k – €65k based experience, negotiable for the right candidates.Full time Permanent Position based in IrelandContactColm Ashmore is the consultant managing this position.If you are a Fire Engineer interested in roles based in Dublin, you can contact Colm by e-mail at [email protected] or phone +353-1-9696684 for a confidential chat.JobContax do not send CVs to clients without candidate permission.With over 50 years of technical recruitment experience, JobContax is the leading recruiter of Fire Engineers in Dublin and Ireland.Due to the large volume of applications, JobContax may not be able to respond to every individual.
