Business Development Manager Irl (Foodservice) RemoteWe have a new exciting position for an experienced Food Service Business Development Manager who will be responsible for covering customer accounts within Ireland.Our client who is a global food service provider is looking for someone to drive their customer base forward and establish new business.In this position you will wear many hats and play a hands-on role creating a positive experience for your clients.This is a fully remote position with travel expected once per week to Dublin in addition to meeting clients across the country.Please note to be considered for this role you MUST have Foodservice experience and be based in Ireland.Package on offer:Fully remote positionSalary €55kUp to €10k performance bonusMonthly car allowanceCompany phone and laptopKey Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a long-term sales and business growth strategy.
- Identify new business leads and target accounts through research and outreach.
- Connect with key decision-makers (e.g., General Managers, Executive Chefs, F&B Managers) via phone and in-person meetings.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and close deals.
- Consistently achieve or surpass quarterly sales targets.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, handling both inbound and outbound leads.
- Place Free-on-loan equipment and train customers on product usage.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to guide strategic decisions.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in the CRM database.
- Prepare monthly sales performance reports for management.
- Use LinkedIn and other platforms to network and generate leads in the hotel, hospitality, and F&B industries.
- Support the Managing Director and Head of Sales with forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Ensure smooth local operations, including inventory, logistics, and supply chain coordination.
- Work with the UK Customer Service team to provide training, resolve issues, and manage equipment maintenance.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks and lead problem-solving efforts when needed.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales or business development, ideally in foodservice, hospitality, or F&B.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Confident on the phone and proactive with outreach.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organised, able to manage time and tasks independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and web-based presentation tools.
- Familiar with CRM systems
- This role involves some physical activity, including the ability to safely lift and transport equipment weighing up to 30kg as part of regular duties.
