At Lambert Cable Splicing, as a Foreman on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll lead crews in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunication systems. You’ll ensure everyone is following safety protocols and project timelines.

What you’ll do as a Foreman

  • You will lead crews to meet project timelines
  • You will help with training of crew members
  • You will read and understand blueprints
  • You will help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
  • You will assist Supervisor with day to day activities
  • You will speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
  • You will safely use heavy equipment and machinery
  • You will perform work in all weather conditions
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are authorized to work in the United States for this company
  • You have a valid driver’s license
  • You have a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
  • You hae at least three years of related work experience
  • You have previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

  • Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
  • Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
