Job DescriptionJob Description: Forklift DriverWitney, OxfordshireDay or Night shifts (Fixed)£12.21-£15 per hour + Overtime at x1.5Immediate start availablePertemps are recruiting for forklift drivers for a company based in Witney on a full-time basis.The company are looking to expand their workforce and employ several forklift drivers to join their fast-paced production team.About the Forklift Driver roleMovement of products within the yard and warehouseUnloading of stock from delivery vehiclesLoading of finished products onto trailers for delivery to customersManual handling of stockRecording stock movements on company stock control systemsInvolvement in assembly and production across all areas of the assembly lineTo be considered for the Forklift Driver role you will:Have an in-date or recently expired forklift licence for either Counterbalance, Reach or CombiBe physically fit due to the physical nature of this roleBe able to communicate effectively, with a good written and verbal understanding of the English languageBe willing to learn all other aspect of production and prepared to be hands on, as the role does not require the operating of the forklift for the full duration of each shiftHave previous experience with hand tools (Beneficial but not essential)Be computer literateMore about the Forklift Driver roleTemporary to Permanent positionDay shift work pattern: 06:00-15:00 Monday to Thursday / 06:00-12:00 FridayNight shift work pattern: 16:45-03:15 Monday to ThursdayDay shift or Night shift available (fixed – no alternating shifts)Day shift hourly rates – Basic hours £12.21-£14.50/ Overtime £18.30Night shift hourly rates – Basic hours £14.03 / Overtime £21.05Full training provided in all aspects of the roleProgression opportunities to move into higher pay band rolesAdditional benefits:Following your probationary period via Pertemps, once employed by the company, your holiday entitlement will also increase.Cycle to work schemeFree parkingDiscounted gym membershipLife assurance programmeFree tea and coffeeDental insuranceFor more information and to apply, please submit an up-to-date CV including a valid contact number and we will be in touch.
