Salary up to £40k (DOE) + Study SupportLusona Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a leading Scottish business for the role of ‘FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Accountant’ based in Lanarkshire. An exciting time to join an established organisation, providing context to the financials and their impact.Reporting to the FP&A Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Analysing financial processes and reporting.
• Providing analysis on sales, margin, product and overheads.
• Collaboration with non-financial stakeholders to provide data that will assist in profit maximisation.
• Providing reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assisting with the month end processes and reporting. For example, accrual/prepayment journals and board pack supporting documentation.
• Completing specified calculations and reconciliations.
• Ad hoc reporting.

Applicants will ideally be a hands-on qualified accountants (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS), however, part qualified or suitably qualified experience accountants with an appetite for growth and development will also be considered. Ideally you will have experience gained from a food retailing or manufacturing environment. You will be proficient in the use of excel/PowerPoint, with excellent analysis skills to manage large volumes of fast paced data. It is important to have strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to successfully collaborate with both financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business.Our client offers a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
