Job description
Our client is a prominent professional services firm with offices based in Dublin City Centre. They are seeking a FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst on a permanent, full time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to join a industry-leading business in a commercial finance role.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports with insights, analysis, and commentary on financial performance and trends.
- Provide recommendations based on the financial analysis.
- Challenge and support financial growth plans.
- Test planning assumptions for both positive and negative scenarios.
- Improve the impact and understanding of operational reports related to financial performance.
- Present financial information at regular meetings.
- Explain the business environment and key financial priorities.
- Prepare reports on key metrics like utilisation, billings, collections, and accounts receivable.
- Track and address sues in work-in-progress and debtor levels.
- Work with stakeholders to resolve performance issues.
- Develop and improve procedures to enhance financial performance.
- Build strong relationships within the business.
- Support financial management and decision-making.
- Provide financial training to enhance understanding of project economics and financial practices.
- Address and improve current workflows for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Handle additional tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified.
- 3-5 years within a top tier advisory practice or industry.
- Financial modelling skills a plus.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
