PermanentDublin South, Dublin€70000 – €80000 per annum pension, bonus, healthcare, HybrSenior FP&A AnalystMy client a US Multinational Pharma company are looking to hire an FP&A Analyst for a newly created role. This is a pivotal role within the FP&A team, the Senior Analyst supports financial planning and collaborates across the organization. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the analyst contributes to consolidated reporting, forecasting, and cost improvement initiatives.Duties:

  • Engage with leadership for financial planning support.
  • Develop analyses for business performance, collaboration budget, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Provide analytical insight on costs and drivers to assist in managing collaboration spend.
  • Collaborate with IT and Human Resources for accurate time reporting.
  • Manage Finance Working Group meetings, document minutes, update Q&A, and address ad-hoc requests.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and provide insightful analysis.
  • Participate in internal and external audit reviews and process walkthroughs.
  • Design and implement methods for continual improvement of information processes.
  • Support month-end close activities as needed.
  • Qualification:

Education & Experience:

  • Professional certification (CPA/CMA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) required.
  • MBA or advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
  • FP&A experience in a matrix environment.
  • Knowledge of SOX financial controls on Accounting and Reporting processes preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, translating financial information into business insights.
  • Strong modelling and forecasting capabilities with a focus on tracking key assumptions.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint) required.
  • Proficiency with business reporting and analysis tools
  • Knowledge of common business and financial drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis.
  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and project management.
  • Experience in mainline ERP systems
