Fuel Farm Technician

The Fuel Farm Technician will work within the WFS Tank Farm facility to receive, store and dispense aviation/ground fuels, operate the site safely and in accordance with all company/airport and regulatory bodies’ policies, rules, procedures and guidelines and implement new or revised company/airport and regulatory bodies policies, rules, procedures and guidelines as may be issued.

• Perform all daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly, six monthly and yearly routine fuel farm fuel quality control checks on fuel in storage and road transport/ISO Containers.
• At all times adhere to all WFS, Petroair, Fuel farm and airport HSSE policies, rules, procedures and guidelines and adhere to new or revised company/airport and regulatory bodies policies, rules, procedures and guidelines as may be issued.
• Report all operational and HSSE near misses and incidents and accidents to supervisor as soon as possible
• Conduct routine equipment checks in accordance with equipment maintenance and integrity manuals.
• Receive truck and ISO container loads from carriers during normal and off hr. operations
• Transfer of fuel into refueling vehicles of customers
• Ensure that all routine inspection and maintenance checks and inventory data are recorded timely, completely and correctly and forwarded to the correct location/person on a timely basis.
• Maintain Office, Conference Room, Bathroom and Plant clean, neat and tidy.
• Comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and guidelines and comply with all new or revised company/airport and regulatory bodies policies, rules, procedures and guidelines as may be issued.
• Maintain accurate and updated plant records.
• Complete tracking spreadsheet that records total fuel received and total fuel redistributed daily.
• Maintain good working relations with customers, contractors and third parties. 
• Assist in developing site procedures by participating in review tram exercises.
