Job Title: Fall Harvest Worker (Seasonal)

Location: Sargeant, MN.

Employment Type: Seasonal (September – November)

Hours: Pending on the Harvest, anywhere from 6 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. (time frame) M – Sat

Part-Time or Full-Time available – Candidate can decide

Job Overview:

We are seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to join our team for the fall harvest season, working with grain crops from September through November. As a Fall Harvest Worker, you will play a crucial role in our harvest operations, helping with the efficient and timely harvest, transportation, and storage of grain. This is a seasonal position with opportunities for overtime during peak harvest periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grain Handling: Assist with loading and unloading grain, managing grain bins, and operating elevators to move grain as needed.
• Quality Control: Monitor and inspect grain quality, checking for moisture levels, foreign materials, and other factors that may affect grain quality.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Communication: Work closely with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow. Communicate any issues or concerns promptly to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or related fields is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Mechanical Skills: Basic knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance is beneficial.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
• Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required. CDL is a plus but not mandatory.
• Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed during peak harvest times.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage, based on experience.
• Overtime pay during peak harvest periods.
• Possible end-of-season bonus based on performance and commitment.
