Let’s meet!JobomschrijvingAs a Consumer Research Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing consumer-focused learning plans for commercial and technical platforms, driving successful product renovations and innovations across six geographic zones.

• Design and execute research plans, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methods such as product testing, claim validation, MVP testing, prototype tasting, and concept refinement.
• Collaborate with external research agencies and internal teams, including data scientists, to conduct analyses, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.
• Lead competitive intelligence programs in 12 key markets, benchmarking product performance, validating category expansion strategies, and identifying new opportunities.
• Synthesize insights and trends, ensuring knowledge sharing to maximize synergies and accelerate innovation across strategic projects.
• Mentor trainees and maintain strong relationships with research partners.
• Train and guide Zone S&CS Managers on research methodologies, toolkits, and data collection programs.
• Expand and maintain a professional network in relevant fields such as sensory science, physiology, nutrition, psychology, behavior analysis, semiotics, applied data science, and experimental design.

Profiel

• Willingness to travel.
• In possession of a work permit for Belgium.
• Master’s or PhD in consumer behavior, psychology, food science, physiology, nutrition, applied statistics or data science.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the field of sensory and consumer science or consumer research.
• Fluent in English (written/spoken); other languages are a plus.
• Experience with data collection and analysis tools such as Eye Questions, Fizz or Compusense, and Xlstat is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience as a project manager with a proven track record of successful delivery.
