Here’s where you come in:
As the Global Fund Grant Finance Manager, you will be reporting to the Chief of Party and play a critical role in managing grants, ensuring compliance, and meeting fiduciary requirements. You will oversee financial management systems, builds partner financial capacity, and monitors projects at national and sub-national levels. Responsibilities include aligning grant deliverables, preparing budgets, managing audits, and ensuring internal controls and compliance processes are met. You will support TB and HIV projects, particularly the Global Fund, Stop TB, and NCD TB, in coordination with the Finance Director and relevant teams. The Grants Finance Manager leads the finance team, oversees daily operations, and participates in donor engagement, reporting, and partner accounting reviews to ensure effective financial management across all assigned projects.
Requirements include:
- Experience in Global Fund financial management (MUST).
- Accountable and high degree of Integrity in the workplace.
- Ability to handle teams with sensitivity and respect for local staff.
- Highly analytical and keen to details; Efficient work attitude and quality output.
- Adept in budget and annual financial reporting guidelines of Global Fund.
- Understanding and working knowledge in IFRS accounting principle, payroll and taxation;
- CPA qualified – mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/ Suitable Bachelor’s degree / Post graduate degree in Finance management.
- Knowledge in financial management of other multilateral and government grants.
