  • Serve as local representative for SGS Belgium NV (NB 1639) linked to a Medical Device Technical Liaison Office (MDTLO).
  • Manage pre-screen form submission process.
  • Coordinate conformity assessment activities from contract signature to certification decision.
  • Oversee project management aspects, including scheduling, documentation, and client communication.
  • Coordinate technical file reviews and assessments.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Track and assess business development initiatives.
  • Maintain continuous improvement mindset and suggest process enhancements.

QualificationsEssential:

  • Bachelors degree with scientific or technical background
  • Effective interpersonal skills, able to develop good working relationships with both colleagues and clients
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to change – committed to continuous personal and professional development
  • Able to follow procedures, rules and best practices applied by SGS Belgium NV (NB 1639) and SGS

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of QMS/Medical Device approval processes
  • Certificate of project management skills (e.g. Project Management Professional certificate)
  • Previous project management experience, preferably of multiple parallel projects
  • Having developed tools and processes for project management
  • Must have or acquire an adequate understanding of the relevant medical device regulations, normative and guidance documents (EU Medical Device Regulations, national legislation, IMDRF, MDCG, CS)
