We are seeking a skilled and experienced Guidewire Test Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire Policy system testing, along with expertise in Agile methodologies and P&C insurance, both in Personal Lines and Commercial Lines. The candidate should also have proficiency in various test management tools. Experience in the Agri/Farm line of business is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the testing efforts for Guidewire Policy system implementations and upgrades.
• Develop comprehensive test plans with the functional test design & execution approach.
• Develop test cases based on business requirements and system specifications.
• Execute test cases and scenarios, ensuring thorough testing coverage.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to drive efficient testing processes and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Coordinate with offshore testing teams if applicable, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Identify and escalate issues and risks, working closely with project managers and stakeholders to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Guidewire Policy system testing and P&C insurance.

Requirements

Must Have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in testing Guidewire Policy system implementations.
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance, including both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Solid knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, ADO, Rally or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen diligence.
• Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.

Good to Have:

• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Agile certifications are desirable.
• Experience in the Agri/Farm line of business is a plus.
