Job TypeFull Time PermanentSalary£57,422 – £66,537 per annumLocationWaterside CampusClosing Date06-04-2025Ref NoUN5238Documents(PDF, 153.9kb)About the jobInterview Date – Week Commencing 14 April 2025The Head of Commercial and Soft Services is an integral member of the Estates & Campus Services Executive Team, supporting the Director of Estates & Campus Services in providing a proactive, effective, and professionally led Commercial and Soft Service that supports the University of Northampton strategy and Estates Development Framework.The post holder will lead a team responsible for the delivery of Catering & Commercial, Residential & Accommodation Services, Security & Community Safety, Front of House, and Property Services.Catering, Security & Community Safety and Front of House services are delivered through the University’s wholly owned subsidiary 1st Degree Facilities. The post holder will have strategic and operational oversight of continuous improvement in this area.They will engage with stakeholders at a strategic level to deliver the above services and act as the professional lead for technical advice and guidance to ensure adherence to legislative and legal requirements.We want you to be able to carry out your work in a way that best supports UON and our students, but also you as an individual.
