And we love it!Overview of the RoleFUEL are currently searching for a skilled Head of Content to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional content across the globe and to take charge of the entire department.This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by leading the content strategy to unlock new business revenue and amplify opportunities for content to play a role in our response to incoming pitch invitations. In parallel, this role will see you actively building a new pipeline of work across a fully integrated service offering covering strategy, audience insight, community management and social delivery. If you are passionate about driving growth and creating groundbreaking content, this position offers a rewarding opportunity with hybrid working arrangements and a commitment to professional development.This is a full-time permanent position and the successful candidate will generally work Monday-Thursday 9am-5.30pm and 9am-5pm on Fridays, however flexi time is also an option once pre-approved.What is in it for you?Large scope of projects | Great culture | High impact roleResponsibilities for the Head of Content include but are not limited to the following:

  • Taking the existing content department growth strategy and working closely with the ELT to execute that vision whilst also having a strong opinion on the direction the offering should take based on solid market insights.
  • Conceptualize and generate content for numerous media platforms. Collaborate with the FUEL Creative Director on ideation of content responses to client briefs to ensure alignment with strategic brand and comms objectives.
  • Direct the crafting of tailored content across various touch points within the marketing funnel including preparing creative treatments and participating in client pitches and new business meetings to sell FUEL’s content offering to prospective brands and businesses.
  • Supervise and lead the content department, establishing objectives and targets for the growth of content. This will also entail onboarding of freelancers to deliver a consistent and market leading TOV / house style with strong relevance to Gen Z and Alpha audiences.
  • Oversee and approve all content budgeting and production scheduling presented by content producers and freelancers and liaise closely with the Creative Operations Manager to manage workflow pipeline.
  • Pioneering new content styles to undergo testing across clients.
  • Craft, revise, and proofread content and copy with meticulous attention to detail to guarantee the delivery of compelling narratives for our clients and their brand.
  • Establish goals and benchmarked KPIs for our content team
  • Research the product specifics of clients, assess competitors, and participate in kickoff meetings to guarantee the implementation of a robust content strategy for new clients and existing content requests.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continually enhance the effectiveness of our content.
  • Monitor and report on content performance metrics to ELT

Skills & Experience:

  • A background of 8-10+ years in content creation / production
  • Experience in crafting, revising, proofreading, and enhancing client-facing content based on iterative feedback
  • Strong project management and project budgeting competencies with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration aptitudes, management know-how, and the capability to engage effectively with internal teams and external associates
  • Knowledge of the various technical and logistical elements across production and post production to ensure creative continuity from pitch to delivery while maintaining the highest standard of creative output.
