Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Head of Enterprise Product Operations, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the telecom products operations within the organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in telecommunications, product management, and operations. You will oversee a team of managers and specialists, driving the maintenance, escalation support, monitoring, and retirement of telecom products while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of operations managers, and specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with customer support teams to address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and gather feedback for product improvement initiatives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, product management, marketing, sales, finance, and customer support to ensure alignment and synergy across departments
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards for telecom products, conducting regular reviews, audits, and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, leveraging their expertise and resources to support product development and operations
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance metrics for telecom products, analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the product operations team, implementing best practices, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in telecom product management, operations management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of telecommunications technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex telecom product lifecycle projects from inception to completion
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to make data-driven decisions and drive business results
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and telecom-specific tools and software applications (e.g., OSS/BSS systems, network management software) is advantageous

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role’s location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled. 

Salary Range

USD $127050.00 – $181500.00 / Year
