Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.Where will you be working?At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.This role will be within our Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.Our meter readers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored.As part of our team, you’ll be at the forefront of the transition to net zero, working with not just those around you, but across the Group- sharing learnings to deliver essential infrastructure services for life.What will you be doing?Join us as Head of Meter Health! Based anywhere in the UK, you’ll lead a growing team of up to 200 Meter Health Engineers across various client contracts in the utilities sector. Your role includes driving operational excellence, safety compliance, and financial success across a wide region. With strong leadership skills, you’ll manage client demands while ensuring exceptional service, staff engagement, and development.You’ll Collaborate with senior leaders on strategic planning to enhance productivity and profitability in smart metering. Build client relationships and champion company values, fostering a dynamic work environment. Be part of a transformative journey in the competitive metering industry!What you’ll bring

  • 5 years leadership experience overseeing a large field-based workforce, preferably within the Utilities/Metering Sector.
  • Proficiency in managing financial budgets and plans
  • Experience in developing, planning, and executing strategic business plans
  • Accident/Incident investigation training and experience.
  • Experience in developing, planning, and executing financial and strategic business plans.
