Position OverviewWe are seeking a Head of R&D to lead scientific partnerships and internal R&D initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration with external stakeholders and fostering innovation within growing internal teams.The ideal candidate will manage a small interdisciplinary team (5–10 people), oversee high-impact R&D programs, and work closely with top management. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong expertise in breeding, gene editing, and plant biotechnology, combined with solid project management, communication, and leadership skills. A start-up mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment are essential.Key Responsibilities

• Lead internal R&D programs and external collaborations with academic and industry partners.
• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, while providing strategic direction in line with company goals.
• Ensure scientific and technical excellence in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Develop project timelines, deliverables, and progress reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to grant applications and strategic documents supporting growth and partnership development.
• Communicate scientific results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Represent the company at scientific conferences, industry events, and partner meetings as needed.
