Head of Supply Chain – WicklowMy client is looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Supply Chain to lead their supply chain operations. • Oversee all warehouse operations and logistics activities, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery of products to customers.
• Lead the procurement process, sourcing high-quality materials and managing supplier relationships to optimize costs and ensure supply chain continuity.
• Ensure the customer service function meets high standards of service excellence, handling customer inquiries and issues effectively.
• Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the supply chain operates at peak efficiency and meets business goals.
• Drive supply chain projects that are aligned with our strategic growth objectives, ensuring successful implementation and execution.
• Mentor and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Collaborate closely with sales, finance, HR, and other departments to ensure a unified approach to operations.
• Provide support to other areas of the business as needed, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

Have you:

• Extensive experience in supply chain management, ideally within the food industry, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
• A proactive, hands-on leader who can manage diverse demands, mentor team members, and consistently deliver results.
• A strategic thinker with the ability to align supply chain activities with the broader business strategy and drive continuous improvement.
• Proven leadership skills with a strong ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• A deep understanding of the commercial aspects of supply chain management, with experience working closely with sales and finance teams.
