Matrix Recruitment are actively recruiting for a H&S Coordinator for our client based in Tipperary.This is a permanent role.Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety standards, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and fostering a safe work environment.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments to guide teams in executing tasks safely and efficiently.
• Champion a strong safety culture by advising leadership and inspiring positive change across the company.
• Conduct regular site safety audits, manage initiatives, and address risks to ensure safe project delivery.
• Collect and analyse safety data, report incidents, and continuously improve safety systems and practices.
• Collaborate with customers through site audits, toolbox talks, and proactive engagement on safety performance.
• Support compliance and certifications, contributing to tenders with accurate health and safety documentation.

What are we looking for?

• Degree/Diploma in H&S or related disciplines.
• Professional qualifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
• 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role (H&S Coordinator/advisor).
• Experience within industrial services and environmental management sector.
• Experience with safety management systems.
• Experience dealing with onsite personnel.
• Strong understanding of H&S regulations.
• Key Skills: Strong Communication, Self Driven, work on own initiative.
