What is the job role?We seek an enthusiastic, and team player, able to support the organisation and the Health and Safety Team in delivering health and safety across the local authority and external customers.You will support the Senior Health and Safety Advisors and Team Leader in facilitating the successful management of health and safety throughout Coventry City Council by providing competent, clear, consistent technical advice and guidance at an operational and strategic level. In particular, to support allocated portfolio areas.In return we offer variety, challenge, continuing professional development with the opportunity to gain your NEBOSH Diploma and progress to a Senior Health and Safety Advisor, peer support and competitive remuneration.This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
