The successful candidate will support the health and safety team by ensuring that the company is compliant with all health and safety regulations and guidelines.Role Requirements & Responsibilities
- Guide and promote employee health and safety performance by assisting in the development of health and safety systems, programs, and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
- Ensure that all employees know health and safety policies and procedures through training and communication.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the workplace to identify and address potential hazards.
- Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Keep current with all relevant health and safety legislation and ensure compliance.
- Attend meetings on behalf of the EHS Team when required to deliver the EHS Agenda and drive continuous improvement across the business.
- Participate in the development of training presentations and training documentation for review by the EHS Team.
- Assist with the implementation of our H&S Management of System.
- Assist with the ATC Health & safety initiatives and procedures to ensure it is effective across multiple sites.
- Maintain accurate records with the coordination and administration of all H&S process, policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned in line with your skills and experience.
RequirementsAbility to be flexible in respect of work standards and demands. Capable of working under pressure at times and to strict deadlines. Ability to complete tasks. Resilient and able to deal with changing priorities.The successful candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate:
- Strong ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with employees and managers at all levels of the organisation.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to train
- Strong planning and organisational skills

- Knowledge of computer and software skills an asset
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail

The following qualifications, skills and experience would be an advantage.
- Experience with MS SharePoint in a corporate environment
- Relevant 3rd Level EHS qualification desirable but not essential.
- ISO9001:2015 or other quality management approaches
- Project Management
