- Develop, implement, and maintain H&S policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with H&S standards.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide H&S training and support to employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of H&S legislation and best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and submit H&S reports to senior management and regulatory bodies
Key Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably within the engineering or construction sectors.
- Excellent proficiency in English, particularly in report writing and statement acquisition.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various departments and managers.
- Proficient in drafting and delivering PowerPoint presentations and conducting ongoing toolbox talks.
- Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager, with occasional liaison with company directors.
