Purpose of the post is to support service user(s) in their day care centre Duties to include Give practical support to the Carers and clients of the day centre and escort clients on and off the bus into the centre To help clients with mobility/physical disabilities / incontinence Assist with serving of meals Assist with activities such as: Bingo/ Quizzes etc Ensure infection control is carried out to the highest standard. Washing up in kitchen area and ensure equipment is stored safely. To treat individuals availing of our service with respect and dignity. To support service users in their day programme as directed by the Manager To attend training that is offered, so that you fully understand and work with all the procedures and guidelines within the organisation. Ensure that any accidents and any concerns for the safety and welfare of the service users of the Mother McAuley Centre are reported to the Manager. English language essential.
